This part of the site is focused on the pre-1970s brewing businesses of Scotland.

In Table View you can sort by the name of a business, the year in which it started or ended, or where it was located.You can also filter by typing part of the name, place, etc. So if you are looking for a business which contains the name 'Watson', just type 'Watson' in the 'Search' box.

In Map View just click on a marker of interest and you will be provided with the dates between which a business was active and an opportunity to look at a more detailed overview. Markers will often overlap in towns and cities whic h had multiple breweries so you may have to enlarge the map to allow you to select a specific business.
