John Amory

Little is known about Captain John Amory, other than that he owned the Denny Brewery at East Boreland, and converted it into a distillery around 1818. He was declared bankrupt in 1820.

The buildings of the former Denny Brewery and Denny Distillery have been demolished, and only traces of the walls remain.
